Clinical Work and Student Supervision

Susan McNichol is the Clinical Supervisor in the Psychology Clinic. Her role is to supervise the clinical work being provided to people from the community by the Master of Psychology (Clinical) and PhD (Clinical Psychology) trainees who are on placement in the clinic. This reflects one of her interests; teaching and supporting trainees who are developing their practical clinical skills. Her main interest in clinical work is children, adolescents and their families and in particular children who have developed, or are at risk of developing, anxiety or other emotional difficulties. She has published in the areas of children's eyewitness memory and sexualised behaviour in children.
